Village Pond Records

The label Village Pond Records was founded in 2004 with the idea of being able tohave their own music programs regardless of current trends andto be able to publish market specifications. The name "Village Pond" is based on the image of a village pond, which in itselfindependent biotope and a living gem of nature through and through. In addition to releases of his own productions such as the first CD "Oracle" by HugoSiegmeth Quartet feat. Michael Wollny - with almost exclusively his own compositions -the label also publishes high-quality productions from themusical environment of Hugo Siegmeth, e.g. "Der Blaue Reiter" by HenningSieverts Quartet or currently "Via con me" by the Trio Nautico. In addition to the musical claim, value is also placed on the appealingDesign laid, in the words of the label owner Hugo Siegmeth to the firstboth publications:“I find both records very successful and I also think that they bothhave something to say. It would be a shame if that were in the presentation, for exampleon the cover, doesn't also resonate.
